“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.” Earl Grollman
It is okay to feel sad when we lose someone dear to us. Grieving is a normal reaction after losing a loved one. There is no perfect formula to get through grief nor a timeline. Take your time and allow yourself to heal.
While funeral service allows you to grasp reality, it also gives you the time to be with your inner circle. After the funeral may be the toughest, know that you have your friends and family. You are not alone. Take time off from work to allow yourself to heal. Meditate if you can. Partake in activities that you enjoy and make you feel alive.
